What is Labours position on third level fees?

I have a daughter in 5th year and am concerned that if I vote Labour into govt that its going to result in me not being able to afford to send my daughter to college in 2yrs time.

Dear

Thanks very much for your email. Much as I would like to, I think it would be illegal to hold back the pensions from the people retiring from the Dail. However, you can be assured that the Labour Party intends to reform Government and cuts in future pensions, salaries, etc will be part of the plan.

Regards,
Anne.

As a graduate, If Labour abolish 3rd level fees how do you propose we fund world class 3rd level education given the state clearly can´t afford to increase its contribution? Through a Graduate tax?

Dear

Thanks very much for your recent email. The Labour Party believes that Education is an investment and not a cost and should be paid for from a progressive taxation policy.

Kind regards,
Anne.

They may be able to collect the pension but there´s nothing to stop you taxing TD pensions @ 95% or higher?

Dear

It would be legally very difficult to tax the pensions already given to TDs. But the Labour Party will change the extraordindary high pension arrangements given the chance.

Kind regards,
Anne.
