If you are elected will you support moves to ensure that Irish remains as a core Leaving Cert subject on par with English and one that every student studies for the Leaving Cert?

Hello what is your attitude to Dublin Bus indicating that it is to stop the 27X service? If Dublin Bus does this would you support a private bus company being allowed take over this service?

I spoke to Dublin Bus recently and they are aware of the withdrawal of the 27X being an issue; am hopeful that there might be some resolution on this front.

I would have no difficulty with a private bus company providing the service if Dublin Bus are unwilling to do so.

I propose that TD´s should receive the minimum wage and operate under a system whereby they receive bonuses by achieving specified targets. This would effectively do away with the current system where politicians performing below par can earn huge sums of money. It would ensure that no person would be involved in politics without a desire to further the interests of the country.

Would you support such a legislation? Please answer yes or no, and if the answer is ´no´ then why not?

I agree with the broad thrust of your argument however I see two
issues with it:

(1) Paying the minimum wage may not draw a broad enough spread of
candidates into public life

(2) You would need clear articulation around definitions/measures etc
used for defining the achievement of "measured targets".
