Enda,

Do you not think, like any other profession that those wishing to enter politics should have a minimum standard of education, lets face it some of the candidates in this election are absolute fools in the real world and would find it difficult to get a job as a production line operative, the scary thing is that there´s a possibility that a few of them may be elected.

Politicians are an organization of people, no matter what party, who profess themselves as leaders of their Country, should their intelligence and educational standards not reflect this?

As a Nation in crisis should we not now be seeking leaders of the highest standard, do you not think that all future potential T.D.´S should be required to pass an aptitude test before they are even considered as Candidates?

Thanks

The Fine Gael manifesto proposes the following:
"Family Law Reform: We will modernise and reform outdated elements of family law".

Can you elaborate as this is ambiguous?

Enda

Can you tell me why are politicians treated so different than other civil servants?

In political life if you are a Teacher, County Councilor, TD, Minister, Taoiseach or President a politician can have a pension from each each position ( or grade) held . What makes them so different, because your regular civil servant does not revive a pension from each grade they work in during their working life.

I think it should be one pension from your working life on retirement and their state contributory pension.

It is so unfair to the tax payer and such a bad practice, for politicians to revive a pension from each portfolio held.

So Enda, when you become our new leader, will this be an area you will reorganize to one civil servant one pension, rather than the number of portfolios held?

Good luck on Friday.

With a population of only 4 million, and a country the size of a postage stamp, why is our teaseach paid more than the president of Austrailia who has a whole contenent to govern, the President of the US, UK and France,?

Ireland is in a total mess, but politians seem to have all one thing in common, LETS HOP ON THE GRAVEY TRAIN, is n´t it so?
